Kiki McDonough is one of Britain's leading designers of fine modern jewellery. Her company, founded over 25 years ago, is run from the Kiki McDonough shop off Sloane Square in London.
The brief
Kiki wanted to totally re-design her website and add an e-commerce dimension to her already successful retail business. The design of the site needed to embody Kiki’s brand of luxury and glamour and act as an ambassador for the business online. The site needed to reflect the elegance of the jewellery and beautifully showcase the pieces to potential customers. The online store had to be easy to use and secure, enabling Kiki's customers to buy selected items online.
Our solution
Working closely with Kiki we designed and built a new website that elevated Kiki’s brand online. The new site is elegant and uncluttered, luxurious in look and feel. The site features exceptional photography of the pieces throughout, ensuring they take centre stage.
Pieces are displayed on a carousel effect, giving the site movement and allowing the visitor to easily move through the collections, gaining a full insight into the breadth of each range.
We built an online store that allows customer to easily and securely order pieces of jewellery. As with any online store security is of paramount importance, both for the merchant and the customer. That's why we integrated HSBC's trusted e-commerce payment solution. This offers peace of mind for the customer and for Kiki, a secure verification of the customer's payment details before a transaction can be completed and the order dispatched to minimise the likelihood of fraud.
