The brief
We first worked with the talented (and lovely) people at ‘i-am’ on the Sofa and Chair Company website. We enjoyed working together so much that when ‘i-am’ decided to re-design their website we jumped at the chance to get involved.
‘i-am’ set us a challenge: to make their website more search engine friendly, easier to use and better at concisely communicating their expertise. The new website needed to utilise their web presence to attract more visitors, engage those visitors, establish credibility and drive direct contact.
Throughout the project we worked in collaboration with ‘i-am’ - they produced the eye-catching creative design and content and we turned it into a wizzy website.
Our solution
The end result - a search engine friendly website with high visual impact, impeccable design and a vibrant interactive user experience.
The new site removes barriers to direct contact. No online forms, no need for multiple clicks to get to where you want to go and no slow page transactions.
We advised ‘i-am’ to keep their content on one domain name, this included the case studies and the blog. This not only helps the site’s web ranking but also makes for an easier visitor experience.
It was essential that the site also showcased ‘i-am’ associates’ previous work. We used an innovative carousel concept on the clients page to displays their clients’ logos. These logos are instantly recognisable to the visitor and gives the visitor an important insight into the breadth of their experience. We also included case studies with lots of relevant content, not only helping to engage the visitor and inform them about ‘i-am’s work but also helping make the site more search engine friendly.
As with all our work, everything on the ‘i-am’ site is designed, developed and delivered in 100% standards compliant code. This means that the new site is compatible across all browsers and devices (including iPhones), ensuring that the site is accessible to as many people as possible and of course highly visible to Google.
