Dallaglio by Sacla' is a new range of pasta sauces launched in partnership between Sacla' and international rugby star Lawrence Dallaglio.
The brief
To support the new range, Sacla' needed a micro-site that would excite and educate potential customers. It needed to clearly embody the brand's Italian heritage, dedication to fresh produce and family values, and showcase the close relationship between Sacla' and the Dallaglio family.
The microsite would be a key platform through which the range would be promoted so it had to be search engine friendly, quick to engage visitors and encourage them to purchase the product.
Our solution
The Dallaglio site captures the product's Italian roots through the clever use of colour and font to match the range. Vivid photography of the ingredients demonstrates the importance of fresh produce and allows the food to take centre stage. To help bring the brand to life, a short film also features on the site.
The use of a microsite to help promote a new range by a well know consumer brand marks an innovative departure from traditional marketing within this sector, and is yet another example of how the internet is now central for all companies' promotional campaigns.
